Fog Lake Screensaver 1.1 build 3

Fog Lake Screensaver, a 3PlaneSoft-developed application, focuses on a specific place and a specific time. The place is a lake; the time is early in the morning, before the fog over the lake had a chance to clear away. Besides a good looking landscape you can see insects and butterflies fly by, a couple of ducks swimming around, and a row boat passing by in the background.

You can enjoy this scenery in several ways. You can use this scenery as your desktop wallpaper, thus replacing your traditional static wallpaper with a dynamic, animated one. Or you can use this scenery as your desktop screensaver - Fog Lake Screensaver will show up when your computer goes idle.

By default Fog Lake Screensaver plays music in the background. You have the option to adjust the volume, mute the music (press M while Fog Lake Screensaver is running), or disable the music. If you want to, you can get Fog Lake Screensaver to play your tracks. You can create a personalized playlist from the application’s Settings window; you will thus get to hear your tracks while Fog Lake Screensaver is running.

Installation – at the time of writing this, support is provided for Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit editions). During the installation process you can choose between these languages: English, German, French and Russian.

During the installation process you are asked to install the 3Planesoft Screensaver Manager. This manager provides information about your currently installed 3PlaneSoft screensaver and about other screensaver 3PlaneSoft has to offer. The manager allows you to access the settings of all the 3PlaneSoft screensavers installed on your system. It also comes with a feature to automatically change the screensaver after a specific amount of time, or to display a different screensaver each time the computer goes idle. This manager is quite useful if you have more than one 3PlaneSoft screensaver.

Limitations – a nag screen will appear after 90 seconds when using the trial version. To get rid of this nag screen you have to purchase a license.
